Phew it is hot hot hot!

Because I've just walked to get my car after its ITV...

Walked from my house, along the apparently, old Coín road, it runs in some places adjacent to the new one, and is probably in better shape occasionally.

I did have to remove my shoes and socks to walk through ankle deep water under the old bridge.

It took me three quarters of an hour, so means I am still walking at the regular rate of four miles an hour, not too shabby.

Wet ankles!

Yesterday walked for nearly three miles and the day before did four miles.

Yesterday's walk took me back around to the Alhaurín water mill, from which I triedwhich to reach Finca la Mota a month ago, but proved way too steep for me.  This time coming around from the Fuengirola Road down towards Finca la Mota and down to the mill was so so much easier!

The day before, the long haul, was a bit of a bucket list thing really, for Franco, he'd been to the Timote waterfalls years ago, twenty odd years ago, and although we'd tried on numerous occasions, could never find it.

This time I got there! Went one way, came back another...

Sitting chatting to the person I'm supporting at the moment..

She said how much I've travelled, how lucky I am.. how many more places I can see go to and explore..

That she'd done none of it.

I said it's in my blood, both sets of grandparents emigrating to the distant shores of America back in the early 1900's..

I said yes, I love exploring new places, and countries.. Yes always on the move, and also work keeps me ever moving ...

Then I said "maybe I'm too scared to stop."

Sat here now on the tarmac, getting very frustrated with the woman on the aisle seat. My fault I need to chill.

It's nothing to do with being almost airborne, but I'm worrying about a lump on my leg. I signed in as a temporary patient at the last placement, and she advised an xray for the lump, in my leg below the knee.

And says I need to see a doctor about an issue I have with my eyes, as soon as I can.

The xray well be ten days for the doctor to be notified, I'll call her after then.

And I need to urgently get back into the Spanish system. Roll on middle of February to do that!

The lump has been there a while, not sure if it's got bigger ore not to be quite honest, I've sort of, stupidly, got used to it. It's been about a year. And I am well aware is totally idiotic to leave something this long, but my state of mind wasn't really in worrying about it mode.

Well, the above was written January 23rd!
Not Blogged since, and am in flight again, February 4th now!

Ten days past and I called the surgery, I asked about results and she said I am deactivated... Lols, great!

Makes me feel like a machine! After a bit of a hoo-ha!! Not said that phrase or heard it for some time?
She came back and told me the test was normal??
Well? Normal? a) never been called normal before, and b) as far as I'm concerned even a normal lump is not normal? It has to be something, and whatever that something is has to be dealt with!

Was a bit off a stressful phone call, as you can imagine..

And now I'm headed back to work, Walsall area, one week only!

All good here, beautiful frosty morning outside, I suppose I better post my blog..

Oh more photographs, top one is our local park.. good memories there.

Taken from the terrace..

On my walk last week around Alhaurín water mill..

Down at La Cala the other day...

And again by the old mill near home...
