Bit drizzly today and yesterday, but nothing bad, nothing like the awful storms hitting the Iberian Peninsula.. still hitting hard.

Tried to share a little video I made in September 2017, but couldn't directly, so this is it, by way of YouTube..

I was looking for something else, and as always stumbled upon a happy memory to make me sad..

Yesterday a visit to The Range, followed by coffee in Costa Coffee with an almond croissant, of course, and then Morrison's for groceries.. updated my Morrisons card! Such excitement.

 Sorry that was sarcastic..

Not quite the old life is it.. Still a life I should be better at living in a better way, a calm happy contented way.. I must stop struggling and go with my flow, stop battling against the.. against a life I didn't see ahead.. I guess..

And tomorrow I shall get the bus to town!! Keep telling myself I'll do it! It's not like I haven't taken a bus before!!

You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.

Just posted onto Facebook and these words below showed up on my feed.. they do, indeed seem to be very appropriate for these days..

Alex Roe finally Home

Don't feel very much better, yet, I'm drinking as much as I can, teas and water of course!

Breathing is an issue but as long as I'm not talking it's okay, my voice messages will be brief today... Strange wheezing noise coming out of me, earlier on I was wondering where it was coming from, then I realized it was me!

I did make an order for a quick delivery but it was cancelled?!? Bit strange..

Tomorrow morning I'll do a COVID test again, fed up feeling like this.

I've been bingeing on series yesterday and today.. can't remember yesterday's? But then yesterday was very foggy in my head...

Today's is Hotel Costiera, great series, it's based around a fantastic hotel in Positano on the Almalfi Coast, it has a comedy edge as they unravel mysteries.. such a beautiful area, stunning scenery, and they go into Naples which makes it even better for me...

Been awake since around 4am though and spent the first four hours listening to more spy podcasts!

Above just an abstract photograph I took the other day in The Range.. when I guess I already had COVID!

All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.

Yesterday the first thing I did when I got off the coach in Nottingham was go to Gregg's.. I had been craving a bacon and cheese wrap, turnover? I think turnover.. So this is what I had to have.. It was just after 10am.. so that and a flat white coffee eating in! It was soooo good!

Randomly the map above.. I was on the main road here in the coach and laughed because of the name of this adjoining road... Bye pass road! Not Bypass.. actually bye pass road! So had to check it out on maps immediately.. how odd!

Yesterday afternoon we went to The Range, I had also missed this store and as soon as I walked in I could have bought a thousand things! Halloween and Christmas had both started in there!! Bizarrely, or not, depending on one's way of thinking!

So many things there and really only looked around a third of it!

We walked there and back, I was fairly tired by then!

I then popped into Asda and the family went on home ahead of me.. I needed a few bits, I bought a three pack of my now favourite Desperados, couldn't find that, and at the self service an alarm went off, you know, just in case I was under age! Guy came along and just put in his pin to clear the sale.. I said, "okay okay, I know I'm old enough but give me a glance first eh!" He laughed!

I had an early night, slept well, what with the early morning start, travel, walking and strong pain meds at bed time!

Today, we walked to The Range again, nothing to do with me!! Just had to go back..

And later on around the Forest park.. quite a wind picked up, but it was so good to feel the cool breeze..

Although I heard it rained back home yesterday!

All in all not a bad weather day for a bank holiday!
