I was down at Calahonda Monday morning, I saw the Almond Tree open, and walked around to the inside area, it was shut last time or maybe the time before, but this time I walked up and sat down, had a coffee, it was sad, I was sad.. melancholy.. the same but so different.. like looking at an old film but you know how the story will end and it's not the way you want it to, and however many times you watch it.. it can never change because some things are totally out of our control.

After an appointment I had I walked down to the boardwalk.. sat a while on the grass by the sea.. white flowers there and honeysuckle on a shrub nearby.. was nice but too heartbreaking.. it's the first time I've back in nearly two years since I scattered Franco there..

When I got back home about one, I got a bite to eat then turned on Netflix, a movie suggestion top of the page so I clicked on it..  It's a beautiful movie.. The Last letter from your lover.. this song by Marianne Faithful This little Bird..  is beautiful.. 

Not even sure why it resonates with me.. but it does.. 

I seem to have an affinity with bird songs.. no pun intended.. My favourite song 'Bird on the Wire' now this one..

Of course, yes I am home, I got home late Sunday evening, at the last minute on Friday I couldn't get the QR code on the Spanish Travel Health app, so I had to get a PCR test done at Birmingham airport, which was easy but a nightmare at the same time.

It's been a busy week, as usual trying to do too many things and ending up with nothing completed.

I've lost an item of clothing, I have completely emptied out every closet I have, the only thing that I found, was that I have lost two things!

I am having even worse than normal sleep issues, after the awful placement sleep times, I thought I'd be better.. but I'm not, awake this morning at 6am.. way too early!

My cupboards are stocked with food though, and after 12 hrs I got my boiler to light! This all done Monday!

The damp hasn't returned, so my paint fix had worked! 

Oh, and my car started first time! Excellent!

It's been cloudy mostly, but heavy heat cloud, it's 34.7 on the thermometer here on my balcon window overlooking the street.. in the shade.

And now, back to the movie me thinks..
